Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what WellVetted (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit wellvetted.life, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us or submit a form, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you.
  • Usage data. Like most websites, our server and our analytics provider record data such as your IP address (truncated where possible), browser type, device type, referring page, the pages you view and how long you stay.
  • Cookies. Small files stored by your browser. See below.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choices.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) help us understand which articles are useful. Analytics is loaded only after you consent where consent is required.
  • Advertising cookies (for example Google Ads or Meta Pixel) may be used to measure campaigns and show relevant ads. These are loaded only with your consent.
  • Affiliate cookies are set by the merchant, not by us, when you click an affiliate link and land on their site. They tell the merchant that the visit came from WellVetted so a commission can be attributed. Some affiliate programmes use long-lived cookies.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.

Third parties

Some of your data is processed by services we use: our host (Hostinger), Google Analytics, and the affiliate networks and merchants whose links you click. Each has its own privacy policy, and once you leave our site you are subject to theirs. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

Legal basis and your rights

Where the GDPR applies, we process usage data on the basis of your consent (analytics and advertising) or our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (essential logs). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@wellvetted.life.

Data retention and security

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, and analytics data for the retention period configured in our analytics account. We use HTTPS across the site and standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
